A popular foreshore campground on Port Phillip Bay at the western edge of Blairgowrie, run by the Whitecliffs to Camerons Bight Foreshore Reserve committee. 65 unpowered sites (some with bay views) plus 59 powered sites in the adjoining powered section, with direct beach access, hot showers, toilets, a laundry, dump point and BBQ area. Pets and campfires (including charcoal BBQs) are not permitted, and only one vehicle is allowed per site. Seasonal: powered sites are open from Melbourne Cup weekend to late April (plus the September school holidays); unpowered sites mainly from early December to mid-March. Book online — sites for the 19 Dec–30 Jan peak are allocated by ballot months ahead, with any leftovers released from mid-November (2-night minimum). 2026/27 rates run from $34 (off-peak unpowered) to $80 (peak premium powered) per night.
Access is manageable but take the last stretch slowly, especially after rain.
On the ground you'll find proper toilets, showers, powered sites, no fire pits (gas cooking only). Nearest shops: Blairgowrie village shops about 2 km away — handy for anything you forget.
