A quiet, secluded coastal campground on the freshwater Lake Mombeong in Discovery Bay Coastal Park, between Portland and Nelson near the SA border. 10 unpowered sites, small pier for kayaking, walking track to a lookout. Flush toilets, shared picnic tables, shared fireplaces — BYO firewood and drinking water (lake water not potable). Bookings required. No dogs.
Access is manageable but take the last stretch slowly, especially after rain.
