A popular campground nestled in tall eucalyptus forest by a tranquil mountain stream, in the northern section of Kinglake National Park — recently upgraded (completed Dec 2025), with minor revegetation works ongoing on the periphery through July 2026 (not expected to disrupt camping). Each site has its own fire pit; three drop toilets, rainwater tank (not guaranteed). 2WD accessible. No dogs.
Access is manageable but take the last stretch slowly, especially after rain.
On the ground you'll find basic (non-flush) toilets, no showers, unpowered sites, fires allowed in designated fireplaces (never on Total Fire Ban days). Nearest shops: FoodWorks Yea, about 29 km as the crow flies, so arrive fully stocked.
