A quiet, family-friendly campground in Loch Valley pine and native forest, 12km north of Noojee — a good base for Toorongo Falls, Noojee Trestle Bridge and the Ada Tree. Surrounded by deciduous trees with autumn colour. Suits 5-6 small groups. Fire pits, picnic tables, shelter, toilet. Dogs allowed, free, no bookings. Caution: log trucks operate on Loch Valley Rd and Toorongo Rd — call ahead on UHF Ch 40.
Access is manageable but take the last stretch slowly, especially after rain.
On the ground you'll find proper toilets, no showers, unpowered sites, fires allowed in designated fireplaces (never on Total Fire Ban days). Nearest shops: Noojee General Store, ~10km — handy for anything you forget.
