A hike-in campground on a spectacular golden beach with crystal-clear, sheltered water, reached via a walking track from Telegraph Saddle. Toilets in the campground; untreated creek water available (treat before drinking). No fires, no dogs, advance booking required. IMPORTANT: the direct boardwalk route to Sealers Cove is closed for a major rebuild after storm damage, so the only way in is currently a much longer 25 km hike from Telegraph Saddle. Check current access before planning a trip.
Access is manageable but take the last stretch slowly, especially after rain.
On the ground you'll find proper toilets, no showers, unpowered sites, no fire pits (gas cooking only). Nearest shops: Tidal River General Store, about 10 km as the crow flies (hike-in) — handy for anything you forget.
It sits roughly 225 km from Melbourne in the Wilsons Prom / Gippsland, which makes it a reasonable run for a weekend away.
