A small, gated group bush camp near Mt Rosea, purpose-built for schools and groups doing overnight walks in the Wonderland Range and the Grampians Peaks Trail. 8 timber tent platforms (2-3 people each), booked as exclusive use for groups up to 16. Shared fire pit with BBQ plate, non-flush toilet, untreated water tank (not guaranteed). Gate keys collected from Brambuk Cultural Centre in Halls Gap. Access via Stony Creek Road, 4WD/high-clearance recommended. No dogs.
Getting in takes a bit more effort — a 4WD is needed, so it's not a spur-of-the-moment first trip.
On the ground you'll find basic (non-flush) toilets, shower facilities not confirmed — check ahead, unpowered sites, fires allowed in designated fireplaces (never on Total Fire Ban days). Nearest shops: Halls Gap Licensed General Store, about 6 km as the crow flies — handy for anything you forget.
